On the basis of the task assessment, a nationwide sample is to be analyzed and evaluated. After consultation with the MSW, the sample comprises 72 examinations (for both tasks) of the Central Baccalaureate 2010 in the subject sport from presumably 12 schools. For this purpose, the MSW will provide the relevant statistical comparative data as well as the examinations needed for the analysis. On this basis, the available examinations will be subjected to a comparative re-analysis in order to identify existing problems in the areas of the tasks, the understanding of the tasks, and the evaluation strategies and standards, as well as to formulate recommendations and advice that can support an optimization of the processes and thus contribute to further quality assurance and improvement.

The project was concluded with a final report to the MSW NRW in June 2011.
