On December 8 and 9, 2023, the kick-off event of the ComeSport competence network took place at the German Sport University in Cologne. Eleven universities from four federal states are cooperating in the ComeSport competence network with the aim of the systematic, science-based (further) development of digitally oriented modular further education and training courses in the field of "Motor learning processes in digital-based physical education".

In addition to an initial exchange, the project's specialist network management and coordination team introduced themselves. The two days of the event were used for exchange and discussion within the ComeNets - various sub-projects within the competence network - as well as across sub-projects.

Prof. Dr. Thomas Jaitner and Britta Schröder from the Institute of Sport and Sport Science at TU Dortmund University were on site as project participants in the ComeNet "Motoric teaching/learning processes in digitally supported physical education". In this ComeNet, TU Dortmund University is cooperating with Prof. Dr. Thomas Abel from the Institute for Movement and Neuroscience at DSHS Cologne and Prof. Dr. Tobias Vogt from the Institute for Teaching Skills in Sports at DSHS Cologne.
