About the person
Research focus:
My research focuses on the biological mechanisms that underpin the beneficial effects of exercise in persons with multiple sclerosis (MS). In particular, I am interested in the acute and chronic effects of endurance exercise on kynurenines – tryptophan metabolites with immunomodulatory and neuroactive properties.
