This project aims to prepare the unemployed and long-term unemployed for the special requirements of the professional fire department's sports aptitude test. The aim is to develop and test concepts and methods based on models and methods of workplace health promotion and health sports that increase the sports participation of this target group, which has so far been rather distant from sports. By improving athletic performance, in addition to a better health status, increased performance at work and in everyday life is achieved, thus opening up access to new occupational fields. The concepts are being evaluated as part of a pilot study to prepare the unemployed and long-term unemployed for the professional firefighters' aptitude test.
