Dennis Dreiskämper new Vice President and Managing Director of asp

At the general meeting of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Sportpsychologie (asp) on Ascension Day in Bochum, Prof. Dr. Dennis Dreiskämper was unanimously elected as the new Vice President Finance (Managing Director) of the asp. This makes him the deputy of the new President, Prof. Dr. Jana Strahler (University of Freiburg), for the next two years. As a section of the dvs, the asp is both the scientific representative of sport psychology in Germany and the first point of contact for training to become a sport psychology expert. It therefore has a special role in the theory-practice connection. The asp currently has around 600 members from science and practice in competitive sport. In addition to Jana Strahler and Dennis Dreiskämper, Barbara Halberschmidt (Münster, school sport), Svenja Wolf (Tallahassee, Florida State, international and research), Moritz Anderten (Cologne, competitive sport), Petra Janssen (Regensburg, health) and Sascha Leisterer (Leipzig, young academics) were also unanimously elected to the Executive Committee as Vice Presidents for their respective areas of responsibility.
