About the person
Research focus:
My research interest is focused on the therapeutic potential of physical exercise in diseased populations, with a particular focus on the tryptophan metabolism. As part of my doctoral studies, I am involved in a project aiming to evaluate the effect of HIIT training in persons with Multiple Sclerosis. The goal is to measure clinical and well-being outcomes, and to study the role of tryptophan metabolites interacting with the immune system.
