Focus of research
My main research interest is to study the effects of both acute and chronic exercise interventions as well as physical activity on the immune system in healthy and clinical populations (e.g. multiple sclerosis). The primary focus is the analysis of the T cell compartment on the cellular and molecular level. Flow cytometry- and mass spectrometry-based methods are primarily used for answering scientific questions.
