After completion of the trial project ''Sport as a 4th Abitur subject'', essential findings of the trial project are to be exemplarily introduced into school practice from spring 2010 to spring 2011 within the framework of a cooperation of the ministry, school supervision, school practice, 2nd phase of teacher training and science. To this end, a Westphalia network and a Rhineland network are being set up. Among other things, teaching projects are to be developed and tested that exemplify the competence development of the students in the sense of a reflected practice from secondary level I to the upper school.

In spring 2012, a final report was presented to the MWS NRW and the participating network schools.
