About the person

As a medical doctor I participate in all our research projects regarding the influence of physical exercise on the immune system. Within the scope of my membership in TU Dortmund’s Young Academy the prehabilitation study with patients suffering from colorectal cancer is promoted.
In addition to my work at the TU I am employed at the Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors in the department of immunology under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Carsten Watzl. There, I am currently involved in projects regarding the immunological age. Due to the immunological focus there is an intensive cooperation between both institutes.
